Arriving international general aviation flights cannot be processed during scheduled international air carrier operations, including one hour prior to the operation and two hours after. View MLB’s live flight schedules.

Overflight Permits

For most general aviation, overflight permits are required for travel to MLB from most foreign airports south of the U.S., including those in the Bahamas. Contact the CBP office for more information, including how to obtain a permit. Pilots/Operators must coordinate their estimated arrival time directly with CBP in Melbourne. As a user fee/landing rights port, requests should be initiated with as much lead time as possible to discuss requirements and ensure availability. Weekend arrivals must be coordinated with the Melbourne CBP office before 4pm the Friday prior.

CBP at MLB can be contacted at 321-674-5796 between 8:30am and 5pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
