  • How early should we have to arrive for our flight?
          You should arrive at least an hour before your flight.


  • What time does the airport open?
          The airport doors open at 4:30 a.m.


  • What can I bring on the plane?
          Check with TSA at www.tsa.gov and click on "Travelers
          and Consumers".  Look for "Travel Tips".
          Or call 866-289-9673 for further assistance.


  • Is it possible to request assistance for elderly/minor/disabled passengers?
          Your airline will help you with your request.


  • How do I get a wheelchair?
          Your airline or a skycap will assist you with your request.


  • Are there skycaps?
          Skycaps are located outside the terminal in front of the ticketing       area or ask your airline to contact them for you.


  • What requirements are there for traveling with pet?
          Check with the airline regarding requirements for traveling with a       pet.


  • Does my child need an ID CARD?
          Check with the airline regarding requirements for an ID card for a       child.


  • Is there a restaurant in the airport?
          The Runway Grille and the gift shop are located beside the atrium.
          Beyond the security checkpoint, for ticketed passengers only,
          beverages and snacks are available at the Gate 1 bar on the
          concourse. Hours of operation are from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
          seven days a week.


  • What is the airfare to…?
          The airfare information comes from the airlines rather than the
          Airport Authority. Contact the airlines or your local travel agent for
          airfares and reservations. Check www.mlbair.com "Airline
          Schedules" for flight information.


  • Are any flights delayed?
          Flight information is available on the FIDS displays throughout the
          airport. The airlines keep flight information updated.


  • Is there ground transportation, shuttle, car rental…?
          Ground transportation is available through car rental agencies and
          shuttle service located in the airport. Local bus service (SCAT)
          stops outside the airport several times a day. SCAT schedules are
          located on the south entrance wall. Cabs and limos are also located       outside the airport.


  • What number do I call for lost baggage?
          Call your airline regarding lost luggage.


  • What is the charge for parking?
          The first 30 minutes of parking are free. The daily rate is $8.00.


  • Is there a bike rack?
          There is a bike rack on the east end of the terminal and one located
          to the left of the Greyhound Bus Lines entrance.


  • Is there a currency exchange?
          There is no currency exchange located in the airport. Contact your
          bank about exchanging currency.


  • Where is "Lost and found"?
          Contact the on-duty police officer at 321-288-0147 for Lost and
          Found items. For items left on the plane, contact the airline
          directly.


  • How do I find employment at the airport?
          The Airport is part of the City of Melbourne and all hiring is done
          through them. Call the City Job line at 321-674-5825 or visit the
          Personnel office at Sarno Road and Apollo Blvd. The individual
          businesses in the airport - car rental agencies, airlines, etc. - do
          their own hiring so you would need to contact them directly.
